Paying More for Less in America
April 23, 2014
In the United States, we assume when we pay more for something, we are getting a better quality product. We do this when shopping for electronics, vehicles, clothes, appliances and the list goes on and on. But what about our healthcare? We’ve touched on this subject before through videos and fun infographics, but it is a critical issue to address. It is important to make sure as healthcare consumers we understand that here in the U.S., we pay more than any other industrialized country but aren’t necessarily receiving better care.
You know how we love our infographics, and Vitals.com created this one in honor of World Health Day which was April 8th. It is a great visual outline of how out of line our healthcare costs really are.
